Badly i can not check the situation on your System.

Some users got problems ..... But it looks like a clean install helps.

Please DOWNLOAD the new Version here on Homepage..... https://www.mobiflight.com/tl_files/download/releases/MobiFlightConnector-7.8.3.exe

THEN delete all Files in your current Mobiflight folder. ( NOTE Backup your MCC Files if they are saved there).
Finaly copy the downloaded EXE File into the now empty folder and run it. This will install 7.8.3 completly fresh.

For other people this solve the problems!

I, just now, reinstalled my pc!

HDD formated. New W7 installed. DIRECTX11. NET FRAMEWORK 4.72 (4.8 has problems and can not be installed).

MOBIFLIGHT 7.0.5 was installed and run, but can not find the modules (3 arduino mega).

I tried to install MBF 7.8.3, but it not run! CLR20r3. So, tried delete all files 7.8.3 and go back to 7.0.5... now, the older also not run anymore. (

All was fine, but now, i can not use my little home cockpit. I dont know what to do!

Why talking about 7.0.5 ??? If you not like to use 7.8.3 then use 7.8.2 but not a "lot of years" out of date Version.

Your Boards use a firmware.... And thats not downgrade compatible.
If you use ( whatever for testing) the version 7.8.3 ( and also Update the Firmware) then sure you can not use this Megas anymore for Mobiflight Versions Prior 7.8.3
To make a older Mobiflight be able to detect the Boards you must delete them ( EEPROM CLEAR) and flash the firmware that was used in this old MF Versions.

Well... i used 705 all time with no problem!
MBF705 and net framework 405 are steel installed in my notebook and running perfectly with 1 arduino mega.
Last week i added 2 more mega and wrote all codes on the notebook. Works well. So, i needed to test the code in the pc. It is my small home cockpit. Then, MBF show me a new update when i connected the new mega. I made it! So, all problems started.

Finaly i not understand why you make a new OS install..... I only ask to confirm newest NetFramework and newest Mobiflight in a clean Installation!

I was reserching the origin of the problem. I want a clear OS to eliminate variables.

For now, im not sure what is the version of firmware in my 3 duino boards. Im very lost and nothing works.

Yes! This is the way! I made it. EEPROM CLEAR!!!! 3 green Now modules are green and i can see my 3 duinos, but allways with click in help/check updates.

Part of problem solved!

Now i have connection lost with FSUIPC. Too late tonight... tomorrow will try again.

Hi Can anyone please Help, After win 10 updates I reinstalled my mobiflight Version from 7.8.2 to 7.8.3 only finding my mega is not found ,but when I Click on help Then check updates then a note says I am running latest software no update required I then Close the note And then the module goes green tick and its found ? Is there something I have to do to overcome this problem so I can use as before It is not checking for software update on starting mobiflight anymore .



I have reinstalled the latest 7.8.3 mobflight 3 times now on two pcs on my network and it has this problem on both pc ‘s I run 3 megas on one win 10 pc and 1 mega on another Win 10 pc latest fsuipc wide installed.
They worked flawlesly before all Updates On version 7.8.2 but now with the latest version 7.8.3 I have to do this manual search for latest software Thru help check for updates before I can use it.

I can not completly rebuild the Problem a.t.m.

But can you guys confirm a fact for me.

It looks like Sebastian programm a routune ( to avoid a old Bug that a Module was showed twice) and THIS include a timer.
In a testrun i figure out the modules get scanned after a "longer" time periode.

Maybe your "Help click" will not be the reason.... it´s the time if i´m right.
If you like do the follow....
Connect Your Boards Then Start Mobiflight.... And then Wait. For me a Board with a older firmware was detected by itself.... But maybe after 30-40 seconds behind startup!

Whatever.... We must talk to him. the new Version solve the NetFramework Bug..... BUT i think it kill something else with Board Detection and Stepper Motor support!.

Hi thanks for reply just tried that ,it still had not found module in 5 miniutes but as soon as I went to help ,check for update etc it
Found the mega and started ok the firmware is the latest 1.9.3
I hope a solution is found soon as 80% of my flightdeck runs from mobiflght

Looks like you two got the SAME Problem. ( mick2658 and PIDERS)

Let me try if i understand....

You install the newest Microsoft Patch....
You install MF 7.8.3 ( Also directly fresh.... and not via Update from 7.8.2 )
Mobiflight Start without issue and also load the last used MCC File

NOW Board are not detecteted by itself whatever they should do....
You know already the Boards have been flashed with newest Firmware ( for current 7.8.3 IMPORTANT Confirm this)

If you NOW press the /Help/Check Update Button THEN it tell you there is no Update cause you still use newest 7.8.3
BUT After you do this the Boards are detected and Mobiflight work fine.

Finaly on next Start of Mobiflight the SAME happens again and you must klick on this "Help/Update" Button again and then all Boards are shown again ???

EEPRON cleaned and MBF7.0.5 back again. Everything all right!

All running well. All 3 green duino and connected to FSUIPC. After format hdd, new OS, reinstalled Steam, EEpron clean, reinstalled FSUIPC (all 3 synconnect installed) and Mobiflight 705, lets flight!

Im back om my micro home cockpit. Nice.

OK.... So your situation is ok....

Whatever i realy wondering. So many bad bugs was inside of Mobiflight in the past. If you still use 7.0.5 your involved from the Logging Mode Bug..... You also have a ton of problems and lots of missing elements that come within the time.

Sure.... Basic Rule is.... If your Cockpit work as it should there is no need of change the System. But i realy wondering how rudimentary your cockput must be to work "good" with that old old version !
