Hello,

I've got a problem with servo motors in Mobiflight. I configurated 2 motors for vertical speed indicator and Indicated air speed. Everything works perfect, but after less than 1 minute of flying, motors got stopped! :-/ I was changing the USB socket and restarting the software, but... The same.

Please give me advise for this error.

Best regards :)

Hi
It´s difficult to understand the problem.
We need a bit more information!

Does the Servos totaly stop ? Or does the move in a non logical way? Does Mobiflight Software still RUN or does it stop with a error message ( or with a error in Logging syntax ?)

To test this.... Create a additional Output Config line ( you need no device) and read for example COM1 Active frequency.
Run Mobiflight
If the Problem Occures then change Com1 in Sim with the mouse and check if the displayed COM1 is also change in Mobiflight connector ( FSUIPC Value Column rigth of the config)

Basicly we must find out.... Does Mobiflight STOP in case of a error OR is just your servo problematic ??1
Good Luck !

Hi!
Thank you for reply :D

So, when I run mobiflight and simulator (FSX) everything is going beautiful. The servos are working very good, but after few seconds (circa 40) the servos goes stop at one position. When I fly for next few minutes... nothing happens.

I tried make this experiment: ,,To test this.... Create a additional Output Config line ( you need no device) and read for example COM1 Active frequency."
Mobiflight is perfect working with FSUIPC, there isn't any problem.

And, finaly. I don't have any error message! Only servos going stop. Mobiflight thinks, that everything is good.

Ok

If Mobiflight still RUN then next step is to figure out if Servo is the Problem or still the Config.

In the Config you create for your Servo you read a Offset.... In Connector Window you see 2 Additional Collumns right of that Config Line.
(FSUIPC Value and Mobiflight Value)
The FSUIPC Value is the "raw" value you read from the Offset..... The other is the "recalculated" Value that is send to the Motor.

In the Moment your Motors "stop" ..... What happen then ?
For example if your Motor show Engine Temperature...... Then shoutdown the Engine in Sim and check the values. Sim Value will decrease ( FSUIPC Column).
Does Mobiflight Column value also decrease ? .

In easy words.... I like to know if Motor or Arduino Mega have a Problem and stop working OR if your config is simply wrong and technical the motor do already what config want from it.

Maybe you can test this. Alternate would be a shared screen/webcam call in Discord. So i can see the situation directly ! Call me there if i´m online !
Good Luck !

I think i solve the problem. I have very much buttons in my mega board (circa 20) and 2 servos. I connect 12V power supply to board, and... It's working! Thanks for help. Have a nice day.
