SOLUTION:
++++++ Go to Windows "Settings", "Security and Updates", "View update history", "uninstall updates" DELETE the last windows update ++++++

Hello everyone,

I was programming my MCP today and everything was fine until I restarted my PC... Unfortunately there was an automatic windows update. However since the restart I am unable to open my file again and I get the "Syntax Error".
So I tried to make a new file... Just an empty file. Same again... Im unable to open any file and get the "Syntax Error" WITH any file... complex or simple doesnt make a difference.

Can anyone help? Someone with same issues?

Thank you very much
Zischke

Looks like Microsoft wanna kidding us.
Other users report the same.

Windows 8 ???

As i know a downgrade will help. So remove the Windows Update.

Maybe Sebastian see the problem in the future..... Until then the maybe only solution is to NOT make this Update for the moment !
Good Luck !

I was not able to find the .net framework updates in my windows updates history; only Windows updates from today.

Deleting these did solve it.

I had deactivated Windows Updates until we know more.

Same for me... I had to desinstall the last Microsoft update.
running Windows 10
Please tell us when it will be ok to reactivate the Windows Update.
Thank you!

You will see youreself pretty sure.
If you start Mobiflight and it tell you there is a hotfix then you know it will be solved.

After that Hotfix you can enable Windows Updates again ! ...... Hotfix will come pretty soon. We still in Beta testing and it looks good !
Good Luck !
