Good Morning,
I am new to Mobiflight and I am getting familiar with the way the system works.
I run into the problem that I am unable to run an encoder for selecting COM1 frequency change (for example) .
I don't know what values I have to put in the "Set Value" field in "More Options".

What Sim and Aircraft do you use ??

With "Offset" as Input you need a formula here.... Specialy in Frequencys this can be a bit advanced.
I recommend to use EVENT ID instead if your Aircraft support that !

I am building the panel of a Cessna 172 and the simulator is P3D v4.
I have seen videos on the internet and the "Set value" field is filled only when selecting the "Use preset" function that we want to execute.
It's possible?

i not use the Preset tool ..... i enter my values myself if i need them. Simply tryout if the Preset include the Value.... If not we must cehck what is correct here..... Pretty sure a IF Condition.

But again its much more comfortable to use EventID if you still use a Standard Stock C172 this work fine.
COM1 is for example.....

you have just touched on a big problem for me, I am using that eventID and works perfectly in a cessna but not in airbus or 747, is there a fsuipc value that can be used instead of eventID that will work on all aircraft?

As i wrote above... We talk about STOCK Aircrafts of P3D,FSX .
If you use FS2020..... Here we explane 1000 times already that FSUIPC is still in BETA.... Mobifight is ready but we can not controll things that not already exist. Here you must wait until Pete Dowson finished his work.

If you stil use P3D and it not work for your Airbus or B747 then pretty sure you use a AddOn Aircraft ! The stocks work all with the same Offsets and/or Events.
Whatever.... Also the most AddOns use for COm and NAV the Standard Offsets, too.

Please tell us What AddOn and Sim you use !
