I not test this encoders.... But normaly they should work fine.
The easyest way to test if Encoder is compatible basicly would be a simple testing ( Pretty sure much faster as writing your Request here in forum :P )

Set your Encoders for testing on 2 Pins from 02-53 and make a simple Test Config like Standard Cessna and Com1 Increase Decrease.
If they work then Problem are Analog Pins. If not problem is maby the Encoder.
(Note the Dual is 1:2 the other is 1:1 .... As i read in your Link)
***********

Summary.
I would say Encoders work OK and are compatible.... BUT Analog Pins are buggy.
We report to Sebastian already other Problems with Analog Pins ..... But i think he have no time at the moment to check this.

Please report here when you make the testing and you can confirm Encoder re buggy on Analog Pins !
Good Luck !

Same Rotary on Pin 2 to 6 works fine.
I Think The analog Pins are buggy ...

Yes they are!

Whatever not mix up.... A Rotary Switch and a Rotary Encoder is different.
But it looks like both will not work correctly at the moment!
Good Luck !
