Hi Guys

Whatever this not a Mobiflight Question overall, i would need support.....

After my Swap from FSX to P3D i not be able to test in B777 at the moment and also not in B747 cause i not own it.... Maby a User here can check a fact for me.

SITUATION:

I talk to a PMDG guy last night about a Bug Report of wrong handling of Speed restrictions and he told me this system i need is only available in B737.... NOT in 777 or 747.
So it would be pretty nice if on of you can confirm this.

WHAT I NEED:

Please simply create a new Flight in your FMC..... For Example EDDF to EDDM ..... Then Choose a STAR for the destination Airport. For example i use for EDDM the upper STAR "ABGA 4 A" ..... Then Check your LEGS Page. For Testing we need a Waypoint with a SPEED and ALT Restriction Entry.
( So sure.... You can choose every Airport Star of your choice aslong it include a Waypoint also with Speed/Alt Restriction)

In My example this is the second Waypoint "LURER Speed 280 / Alt FL140B "
Now please TRY to change the SPEED Value by a Manual Entry in the FMC .... Please Set here a ABOVE or BELOW Restriction instead of the Hard 280kt .....
For example in B737 i enter "280B/"
NOTE: Remember the Slash / must be done cause we rework the LEFT Value here... If you enter "280B" without slash/ then it change Altitude to FL280B
Then in B737 the Entry change into "280B/FL140B"
Same testing can also be done with a "Above" Entry like "280A/"

EXPECTED RESULT:
If the guy was right then this entry can NOT be done in B777 or B747.... Just in the NGX.

If Possible please Confirm.... Can we enter a Speed Value with A or B here or does those PMDG´s realy only accept "hard" speeds ??

Thank you !
Good Luck !

Hi Pizman

Tested in the pmdg 777-300 p3d v5, won’t accept a or b, just the 280

Wonderfull.... Nice Comunity work

Thank you my friends for this testing work !

Now i will ask a "realworld" Pilot friend how this is working in the Real Aircrafts..... If that is unreal and inputs can be done there, i can requst to PMDG again with better arguments !
Good Luck !
