Hi

I don't usually start the NGXu from cold and dark out of quickness, but with being on lockdown, I have plenty of time to start.

I run a full home cockpit with the overhead panel etc and discovered an issue that I wanted to confirm wasn't just my setup

Usually on the NGX I had fsuipc with the parameter numbers, ie 0, 1 or 2 etc

So for example Bus Gen Switch (On & Off) was set like
Control Set when Button Pressed
Custom Control 69659
Para - 2 (for switch on)
Control Set when Button Release

Customer Control 69659
Para - 1 (Switch Off)

This always worked, however, now when I set that up on the NGXu, I can see the switch move in the virtual Overhead panel but it doesn't action the command, just moves the switch unless I use:
Control Set when Button Pressed
Custom Control 69659
Para - 536870912 (for switch on)
Control Set when Button Release

Customer Control 69659
Para - -2147483648 (Switch Off)

Just wondering if this is correct

Just to clarify, I'm using p3D v4.5 and PMDG latest update NGXu with FSUIPC 5.155

Hi

I not test this already myself.

Does this problem occure for 100% of all 1/0 latching switches, too ? For example FuelPump Switch

Your example of GEN Switch is "special" cause this is in theory a momentary switch... (ON)-Off .... So ON Position is not latching.
Would make sense if this Input is seen as Momentary.... And then it will act with Left Mouse Click intead of a 1/0 Parameter.

Whatever....

This looks wrong cause a ON/OFF Switch will have parameter 0 for OFF and 1 for ON..... Not know why you use her 1/2 instead.

If possible please check this.....
1. Is problem in all ON-OFF Switches or only in that specific situation
2. Does rework from 2/1 to 1/0 solve the problem.

For testing:
Use Parameter 1 ON Press and 0 On release..... If not work use for Press "Left Click" and NOT use Release.... Normaly this should work fine then.
Good Luck !

Hi Pizman

You are correct my example was wrong :D I was supposed to write 0 off and 1 on

I only noticed the issue with the NGXu doing it with 0, 1 etc when I tried to start the apu it wouldn't work, nor the gen bus or the ground power switch, everything else did work, ie Lights, fuel pumps

Changing it to the Left mouse Click, Right mouse Click fixed the issue.

I didn't have a problem in the older NGX version, didn't have to use the mouse clicks

So yeah to confirm, I set the left & Right Packs, Gen Bus, APU Gen, APU start Switch and Ground power with the left/right mouse click, and everything else is setup with 0, 1 2 3 etc

Fine...
Maby APU Start Switch is finaly special again..... This Switch have 3 States ( OFF-ON-Start)
This one will not work correctly if you always use Leftclick Rightclick maby.

-Way 1 it is a MultiPosition.... OFF is "0" ON= "1" and Start = "2" .
-Way 2 it is a mixup .... OFF is "0" ON = "1" and Start have no value and need a Leftclick aslong current State is ON. ( I think thats it if PMDg work logical)
-Way 3 it realy work with left right clicks only.... Would be strange.

Solution:
Make your Setup and Test it in all Directions Off-ON-Start And Start-ON-OFF ...... If all is work fine your OK.... if not try out a other system i wrote above.
Good Luck !
