Hi guys,

I'm trying to get my Cabin Altitude and Takeoff Config warning lights to work in my sim. I have the PMDG 737NGXu and I am using the offsets 6C8F and 6C8E as per the bottom of the list in the updated offset list. I have updated my FSUIPC version to 5.154 also. I am unable to get them working. Can anyone shed some light on why they are not working? I'm really puzzled with this and have looked over it quite a number of times now so any input I'm sure would be very useful

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi Andrew

I've got the NGXu tucked away as I prefer the NGX, but i'll try and bring it out tomorrow (Monday or Tuesday) and have a look, As I recall after working and testing the ngxu with Pete Dawson, I'm sure everything was working on mines.

I'll get back to you in the next couple of days or sooner if I can

Hi Andrew

Latest update for you now. I've tested and mines was the same, however, I have spoken with Pete Dawson (FSUIPC) and a new fixed version has been released, Please install version 5.155 from the website http://www.fsuipc.com/

All annunicators will now be working

This Topic is 2 Years old.... For sure you can no longer get this "old" version 5.154
Cause meanwhile we are already at 5.157!

Also get sure your on the Correct FSUIPC.
FSX = FSUIPC4
P3Dv4 = FSUIPC5 or FSUIPC6
P3Dv5 = FSUIPC6
FS2020 = FSUIPC7

Also get sure you make the "Enable DataBroadcast" entry in the INI File. Else it would not work !
Good Luck !

Thank you for your reply. I have fsuipc4 for fsx and I have "Enable DataBroadcast" entry in the INI File. I have everything else working ok but I cannot find the offset for the "Takeoff Config" annunciator in the offsets file. Is the offset not provided by fsuipc and PMDG? and also I need your help with setting up the potentiometers. Should I send the details regarding the pots here or start a new thread?

Yes and No !

For you its NOT available in case you use PMDG NGX for FSX.
The needed Offset was included later for the new PMDG B737 NGX"u" ( P3D v4.5+ and FS2020 Only)

iconQuote:

Additional Offsets for NGXu only
Offset: 6C8F Size: 1 BYTE Name :MAIN_annunTAKEOFF_CONFIG

So this only work directly with P3D/FS2020.

Maybe we can provisional solve this. If we would know "when" this LED must light and we be able to read all the needed indications then we can build a logic that do the same.

For example if a LED must light if Gear is Down and Alt is below 10.000 Whatever if there is no Offset for that LED itself.... We would simply read Alt and Gear and say IF Gear is Down AND Alt <10000 THEN 1 ELSE 0. ( I hope you understand)
