When I try to update Mobiflight with the latest version I get the following error messages and another message that tells me to rebout and try again. I did try 3 times but I always get the same results. Can someone help please?

This is what I get from the WinRAR self-extracting archive:

Extracting files to c:\Mobiflight_Connector folder
Extracting from MobiflightConnector-7.8.0.exe
Cannot create ArcazeHid.dll
Cannot create AutoUploader.NET.dll
Cannot create CommandMessenger.dll
Cannot create FSUIPCClient.dll
Cannot create MFConnectr.exe

Hi guys, the problem is somehow related to the running app (old version) that is taking too long to shutdown and the new version cannot be extracted and overwrite the new files.
I am trying to find a reason for the sudden change in behavior but I was not successful yet even though I spent a couple of hours looking into it.

WORKAROUND:
  • Download the new version manually to the old installation directory.
  • Exit Mobiflight if currently running
  • Double click on new version


I myself am also affected by the bug which is good because I can reproduce the issue.
I will try to come up with a solution as soon as I can.
