Hi all

very very interested by this piece of software

i use the 2 major civilian simulators of the market: P3D V4.3 and X-Plane 11.30
i bought a collection of Aircraft with Garmin G1000 Avionic Suite in the 2 simulators
i want to start a project of Generic cockpit related to the different type of Aircraft i have, meaning that the setting of Mobiflight should be different depending of the plane i use for different reasons
different motorization : mono single general aircraft engine , Mono or Multi PT6 turbines Engines, Jet
editor use standard setting of the sim or use his own dataref or Lvar or often a mix of the 2

looking to some video in Youtube , i certainly miss this point
in which vidéo can i see this capability and how the parametric is set in Mobiflight ?

Best regards
Thierry

Hi.
Welcome to Mobiflight.

At First.... there exist some videos.... But we not be able to support all stuff in V-Tutorials. Most of information is include here in Forum and in the Tutorial Section and Manual Section on Homepage. Have a look on it.

About your Situation:

Basicly Mobiflight is build for a 100% Support of FSX, FS9 and P3D .... It also workes for Xplane but not directly.
MF is build to comunicate via FSUIPC. So Offsets are basicly working 100% .... But LVars (P3D) and Datafrefs (Xplane) are NOT supported direct via Mobiflight !

That means....
For LVars ( Some AddOn Aircraft not based on FSUIPC and use Lvars instead) you must create a LUA Script ( or get a premade one from a other user) . This script finaly will Read/Write the Lvars and support it on Free FSUIPC Offsets.... Mobiflight finaly can only interact with those Offsets. So its your work to bring the Data to the Offsets !

For Datarefs its simular...... Mobiflight talkes to Xplane via the tool XPUIPC ( This is like a FSUIPC Clone for Xplane)
Here only maby 90% of the FSUIPC Standard Range is include in basic version. If you need Datarefs ( for example from AddOn Aircrafts) that are not include in the Standard Table..... Then you need again a own written script. This is then include in the XPUIPC Software and will read/write DataRefs and support it again to Free Offsets ( Here in the XPUIPC tool) .... Same like Above.... If you bring the Data to the Offsets then MF can work with it.

****
Summary....
If you like a "easy" life then i recommend to work with FSX/P3D and with AddOns that are based on FSUIPC. If Not then you must prepare to do some additional work to make this possible.
Good Luck !
